Its high time we bring back the lost respect to our elders ......The Gita says respect your parents and your days will be long........ It is time we go back to the foundation of our existence , I am sure each step towards it would make a difference ..........
Remember parents gave us life but later they even give their life for us ..........

It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself.

i agree with you 100% . at times i end up behaving with mom in a way that she's my friend and loose out on the respect bit of it at times. Is it wrong? i am guilty? :(

our life would never be the way it is without our parents' love and support during it.. the least we can do is give them the respect and love back that they have the right to.. nice work..
Though I agree about respecting parents, I think it should be mutual. Parents need to respect children too. Expectations spoil all relationships even the blood ones.
true . there are many who will agree .... as a rule i dnt trust people who dnt respect thier parents ..if cant be loyal to thier blood they cannot be loyal to nayone ....but then again the respect is mutual ...and things gets worse when parents ctry to rule ur life ...u have to part away ...but even then u cannot justify bad behaviour towards them ..
